Tell us the shape
of the problem.
We help clients pressure-test the decision before they commit to it. Most engagements start as a 30-minute conversation — bring a roadmap, an org chart, or a board memo, whichever you’d rather stress-test first.
Write it like you’d brief a peer.
The questions we get most often.
Short, honest answers. If anything is missing, write to us — we’ll add it.
How do engagements typically start?
A 30-minute call with a principal — usually with the founder, CPO or VP funding the work. We listen, ask a handful of pointed questions, and either come back with a one-page shape within 48 hours or tell you Mirage isn’t the right fit.
What does Mirage not do?
We don’t run pure-discovery diagnostics with no embedded delivery. We don’t take engagements where accountability is split between siloed buying teams. We don’t do hourly billing. And we don’t do hand-over-the-deck consulting — if we can’t ship inside your team, we’re not the right partner.
What size of business do you work with?
Most of our work is with growth-stage companies (Series B and up), private-equity portfolio companies, and enterprise innovation units. We occasionally take earlier-stage advisory roles where the founder has both clarity and capital.
How is pricing structured?
Monthly retainer for advisory and embedded work; fixed-scope pricing for programmes. We share full pricing on the first call, after we’ve agreed on shape. We don’t publish a price list because the answer always depends on what we’re asked to own.
Are training cohorts open to anyone?
The AI-Native and Leadership programmes run as small open cohorts (10–14 people, mixed companies). The Org Design Bootcamp is private — usually for one company’s leadership team. Executive 1:1 is by application.
Where are you based, and how do you work?
Berlin head office, remote-first across EU time zones. Typical engagement rhythm is two synchronous half-days per week (in-person or video) plus async on Slack and email. Travel for kickoffs and quarterly reviews.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes — on first call we’ll happily sign your standard NDA. Case stories on this site are anonymised by default; we ask permission before we use named references or named outcomes anywhere public.
Can you work with our existing consultants or partners?
Yes — we work alongside existing implementation partners, agencies, and in-house teams routinely. Our role is usually the operating-model owner. We don’t need to be the only voice in the room; we do need a single accountable line on the client side.
